Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update
This has been an unprecedented and trying time for everyone, but through this we have found an even greater appreciation for your support of our office, and we look forward to continuing to care for you.
As always, the cleanliness and sanitization standards of our office have always been our top priority and we will be taking it to even higher standards to ensure you feel safe coming in for your much needed routine and emergency treatment. We have developed the following protocols based on recommendations and guidelines from the ADA (American Dental Association), OHA (Oregon Health Authority) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention):
- We are increasing time between appointments to ensure that our enhanced room sterilization works effectively and thoroughly.
- We have advanced antiseptic and sterile procedures to meet or exceed strict CDC guidelines.
- We will be encouraging patients to come alone, or with as few family members as needed, and will encourage patients and guests to wear their own masks.
- We will be screening patients over the phone before scheduling and confirming appointments and will reschedule if patients have had any recent symptoms.
- We will be screening temperatures before patients are taken back to treatment rooms.
- We will have all chairs in the waiting room spaced appropriately for social distancing.
- There will be hand sanitizer available upon entry into the office and several hand washing stations throughout the practice.
- Our staff will be wearing an increased level of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- We will be creating a movement protocol so that patients enter and exit rooms one at a time so as not to cross each other in the hallway.
These are just a few of the innovations that we are bringing to our practice and we will continue to evolve and add any protocols necessary to keep our patients, staff and family safe.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We look forward to safely resuming your dental care and supporting our community.
